This course is the CITB Health & Safety Awareness course, and is one of the requirements for obtaining the CSCS green labourer’s card for access to large building sites. It covers all aspects of health & safety on site and in the workplace.
Who is the course for?
Employees requiring training on health & safety in the workplace or on site, and employees needing to apply for the green CSCS labourer’s card. Delegates must be competent in English.
Course content includes:
- Employer’s and employee’s legal responsibilities
- Accident reporting & emergency procedures
- Risk assessments
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Manual Handling
- Working at height
- Working with electricity
- Noise & vibration
- Fire prevention
- Working in confined spaces
- COSHH Regulations
Completion of the course:
Delegates will take a short written test. Successful delegates will receive a CITB accredited certificate and be entered on the CITB Construction Training Register.
